Fine Jamaican products by Royal Caribbean Bakery

We had the golden opportunity to try the fine Jamaican products by Royal Caribbean Bakery at an event in New York City. Many enjoy the jerk chicken and patties along with their fine rum from Jamaica. They have a variety of delicious Jamaican breads like hard dough, whole wheat dough, coco dough, duck dough, and jackass corn biscuits.

Also, they have high-quality buns like spice fruit, Easter, sugar, and round spiced rum. They recommend to have Jamaican cheese with them.

Many would also enjoy their cakes like black fruit, assorted mini cakes, bulla cakes with ginger, coconut bulla, and rock cakes like scones.

Royal Caribbean Bakery was founded by Vincent and Jeanette HoSang in 1978 in a 3,000 sq. foot facility, which is still the home of the Royal Caribbean Bakery Retail location.

Vincent and Jeanette HoSang were born on the Island of Jamaica. They come from a lineage of entrepreneurs from China. They wanted to share Jamaican food with Americans and opened up a fried chicken store that also sold Jamaican Patties and bakery items. Their business expanded where they became the largest Jamaican Frozen Food Manufacturer in the U.S. All their signature recipes have been “tested” for their authenticity and have received the highest ratings from fellow Jamaicans.

Also, they have never forgotten the country that they came from. Many Jamaican charities benefit from their generosity, including an annual donation to the Jamaican athletes participating in the Penn Relays. The Vincent HoSang Family Foundation is an organization which donates school supplies and medical supplies– including the famous medical bus to Dr. Streete– and funds for churches and scholarships to college students.

Vincent HoSang and his daughter, Sabrina HoSang Jordan, were the first Asian-Caribbean father-daughter to win the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Family Business category in New York in 2019. Sabrina HoSang Jordan, their CEO, serves on the New York Forward Re-Opening Advisory Board.
