Vanjak Vodka from Golden, Colorado utilizes a silver filtration process and is six times distilled, corn-based, gluten-free, silver, and carbon-filtered. The vodka is made exclusively with Eldorado Canyon award-winning spring water without any sugar. They are a family-run micro distillery business located in the foothills of Golden.
Using the new technology of silver filtration, the company enhances certain organoleptic characteristics of the finished product.
Vanjak also uses a custom blend of organic teas that they source from Teautulia in Denver with their gluten-free vodka and sugar. Also, many would enjoy their Jory’s Old Gin with seven botanicals like elderflower and coriander balanced with juniper. Also, they add star anise and lemon peel. They are producing some new liquors like Jory’s Sweet Gin with hints of lemongrass and light juniper.
The company has a straight Bourbon Whisky– each barrel is selected with a minimum of two years. The barrels are drained and blended with Eldorado spring water for the first resting period. Then there is warm caramel and toasted vanilla through a non-chill filter before the second resting period. They add over 20 percent rye to add spice.
Another new product is their Jory’s Triple Sec. It is triple distilled in a handmade copper still with fresh oranges and real sugar and no artificial flavoring added. Also, they will offer Colorado High Proof, a 190 proof liquor.
