We like to try different food products, especially fudge. The samples of Moonshine Bars was better than expected given there is alcohol in it, and it was very tasty. We had the chance to taste small samples of Moonshine Bars by Chocolate Moonshine Company at NY NOW Winter 2020 at the Javits Convention Center.

The company uses the finest fresh cream from Pennsylvania.They go to Belgium for their chocolate, and to Madagascar for their vanilla. They make all their fudge in small batches cooked over an open flame in copper kettles with ingredients that are stirred by hand with Maplewood paddles, and every single batch is overseen by their staff of artisan fudge makers.

All of their fudge recipes are built by their Founder, Christopher Warman, Sr. He perfected his product in 1989. A panel of judges from the Hershey, Mars, and Godiva chocolatiers declared it the best fudge available. There is 30 percent less sugar than your standard fudge.

It is unfortunate that some have been accused of trying to steal their recipe, and had to be battled in court. It is known as the “Famous Fudge Case” taught as case law in intellectual property classes in law schools around the country.

The moonshine bars are gluten-free with zero trans fat along with no egg or wheat, and only 100 calories per bar and only 6 grams of carbs. You can get the two-pack collection of bars infused with alcohol or without any alcohol. One can build their own bars out of 20 flavors.
